This patch is long overdue.
My classes started up again after the last update and I lost focus, but I'll get back to development now.
This update is mostly the result of me experimenting with level design. I think a more linear path for the player to go through is ideal for now. I'm sure once I have more mechanics shortcuts and a few paths that lead to extra loot could be added, but this works well for now.
ALPHA 0.0.16 Changelog:
- Enemy attention now displayed over their head. If an enemy is chasing the player, they will have a red circle appear. If the enemy has lost sight of the player, the circle will shrink until they give up the chase.
- Level adjustments.
Moving Forward:
A short ranged attack and grenade would be very nice, and also points you have to defend in some levels. Finish working on the level management system so that the player can restart the game without closing the program.
